McCall Barsamian, LMFT
Maybe you grew up in a home where your family didn’t take good enough care of you. You were overlooked and often felt alone. You didn’t feel safe enough to be yourself. You learned to pay close attention to others’ moods and to proceed accordingly. You had to grow up fast and learned to be independent early on in life.
Nowadays, maybe you struggle a lot in relationships. Perhaps you find it difficult to trust others and oscillate between being aloof and needy in relationships. Maybe you forgive too easily and struggle at setting healthy boundaries. Maybe you’re quick to please others in order to avoid conflict. Maybe you have trouble dealing with feelings - yours and other people’s.
These are all likely and common possibilities. What’s also possible is untangling your former and present relationships experiences and bettering yourself, your relationship(s), and the quality of your life in the process. For that reason, I became I relationship therapist. I am passionate about and look forward to helping you learn how to more fully live, love, and be loved.
